Warranty Info

JoslinCorp is a factory direct reseller for the products we sell. All of our products are covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty agreements, but JoslinCorp can assist you with any warranty claims. Just ask us, and we will help you any way we can. Please read the owner's manual and manufacturer's warranty agreement that comes with your product, but here are some general rules concerning warranties:

• Warranties are in effect for the original purchaser only, and shall not apply to any subsequent owner, or other recipient of the product from the original purchaser.
  
  
• Products must have been purchased:
  • Within the United States.
    
    
  • From an authorized reseller or dealer thereof.
    
    
• Warranties usually cover Defective Parts Only and usually do not cover any labor charges inclusive of, but not limited to:
  • Charges incurred for removal of defective parts;
    
    
  • Charges incurred for installation of replacement parts, or;
    
    
  • Any additional charges which a Dealer or Service Agent may impose.
    
    
• Purchaser is responsible for all transportation costs when returning unit for warranty service or repairs, and any return shipping damage incurred when submitting returned parts for repair or replacement under a Limited Warranty.
  
  
• Any claims against a Limited Warranty shall in no way be construed as extending the warranty coverage beyond the original warranty period, which commenced upon the date of purchase.
  
  
• JoslinCorp assumes no responsibility for any warranties beyond the express terms contained in this Manufacturer's Warranty. No dealer nor any other person or corporation has the authority to amend any Limited Warranty or make any warranties or representations concerning Distributor, or to extend this warranty beyond the express terms contained therein. Purchaser releases and holds Distributor harmless from any claims stemming from any unauthorized representations.
  
  
• Purchaser holds JoslinCorp harmless for any consequent injury, loss, or damage resulting from:
  
  
  • Defect or malfunction of the Product;
    
    
  • Acts of God;
    
    
  • Shipping damage;
    
    
  • Purchaser misuse, unreasonable use, tampering, abuse, acts of omission, failures to exercise due diligence, or negligence;
    
    
  • Alterations to the Product by any person or entity other than the manufacturer.
    
    
• This Limited Warranties shall NOT apply in cases where:
  
  
  • The part has been damaged due to battery leakage.
    
    
  • The Product suffered shipping damage incurred in transit between Reseller and Purchaser. While in such cases, reseller will do its utmost to supply replacement parts in a timely manner, the Shipper shall be solely liable for all costs incurred due to damage during loading, shipping, and unloading of the Product.
    
    
  • The Purchaser has failed to properly assemble the Product and/or exercise due diligence in ensuring that all critical nuts, bolts, screws, and other fasteners are both present and properly tightened prior to using the Product.
    
    
  • Parts have been damaged due to improper assembly, excessive force, or failure to follow reasonable mechanical standards.
    
    
  • The Purchaser has failed to properly maintain the Product in accordance with the directions contained in the Owner's Manual provided by Manufacturer, including but not limited to damage incurred due to insufficient engine/transmission oil and/or coolant
    
    
  • The Purchaser has failed to properly break-in the engine.
    
    
  • The Purchaser has modified the Product in any respect including but not limited to the use of parts other than genuine manufacturer's parts.
    
    
  • The Purchaser has abused or neglected the Product in any way.
    
    
  • There is an increase in the operational noise level of the transaxle.
    
    
  • These part s are wear items, and as such, are not covered under warranty:
    
    
    • Tires
      
      
    • Batteries
      
      
    • Brake pads
      
      
    • Clutches & CVT components
      
      
    • Drive chains & sprockets
      
      
    • Light bulbs
      
      
    • Seat upholstery, roll cage padding/covers, sun shades, arm pads
      
      
    • Plastic body panels and fenders
      
      
• These warranties set forth herein are in lieu of any and all other warranties, expressed or implied, including the warranties of merchantability or fitness for specific purpose, and any implied warranty imposed by state consumer law, limiting warranty duration from date of purchase.
  
  
• Purchaser represents and agrees that any claims, which may be asserted against the manufacturer, shall be limited to those that may be asserted under their foregoing limited warranty.
  
  
• Please read the owner's manual and warranty information included with your product. . By making a purchase through JoslinCorp, Purchaser agrees that he/she has read, accepts, and agrees to the manufacturer's Limited Warranty and terms.
  
  

How to file a warranty claim: First contact JoslinCorp, so we can validate your claim. Most problems can be fixed with minor adjustments. If you find a part is defective, you will need to remove the part and send it to us at your expense for exchange. We will have the replacement part shipped back to you at no expense. If the part is too large to ship, such as a chassis, you will need to provide photographic or video documentation of the defect. Tech support will be able to help you with our documentation requirements in such cases.

Shipping

JoslinCorp is not responsible for shipping damage. Should your product arrive with any damage, you must have the driver make a note of the damage on the delivery receipt, then file a claim with the shipping company. Products cannot be refused upon delivery unless damaged beyond repair, and acknowledged as such by the driver. ALL returns must be authorized by the appropriate manufacturer's customer service, and issued a valid Return Authorization (RA) Number, before JOSLIN Corporation can refund any monies. If a product is refused or returned without a valid RA number, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs, plus a 20 % Factory Restocking Fee. We will assist you to the best of our ability, with any claim process. JoslinCorp will not be responsible for additional shipping fees incurred due to inaccuracies in addresses or phone numbers provided by you.
JoslinCorp ships most of the larger motorized products such as go karts, dune buggies, scooters, ATV's, mini-bikes, and dirt bikes free of charge to locations anywhere in the United States except Hawaii & Alaska. However, if the truck cannot get to the final destination, your order may be delivered to the freight hauler's closest terminal or shipping depot. Home delivery requires someone to sign for the shipment, and assist the driver with unloading the freight. If you require ‘Lift Gate Service', (which lowers freight from the back of the truck to the ground), you can select this option during checkout (for an additional fee). Call us for more information if needed.
All optional parts and accessories are shipped to your door via some parcel delivery company like UPS. Purchaser is responsible for these additional shipping costs, as they will arrive separately, and are NOT covered under vehicle's free shipping arrangement.

Legal Disclosures

It is the responsibility of the Purchaser, not the reseller, to ascertain, and obey, all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession, and use, of any item purchased from JoslinCorp. All equipment is sold subject to Public Law 90-351, Title III, U.S.D., Section 2511, and any local, state or federal ordinances or international law. Consult your local, state and country laws before ordering.
Purchaser must be 18 years or older to purchase products from JoslinCorp. Absolutely no sales to minors.
By placing an order, the buyer represents that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner and that they are of legal age. JoslinCorp will not be held liable for the misuse of any product purchased from us.
Also no safety feature or product is 100% effective against preventing injury. JoslinCorp assumes no responsibility if a product purchased from us is not effective in preventing bodily injury, dismemberment or death.
Should your item be confiscated by customs in your country you will NOT be refunded and you waive any rights you may have to deny your payment to us. Again, if you are in doubt check your local laws BEFORE purchasing a Product.

Waiver of Liability

I, the Purchaser, being above age 18, agree to all terms as follows:

• I acknowledge and understand that operating motorized vehicles and participating in other motor sports can be hazardous and dangerous activities, which require strenuous exercise and various degrees of skill and experience, for the different surfaces and venues. I understand that these activities can result in serious injury to the person and damage to property and voluntarily assume any and all risks of loss, damage or injury while using any products purchased from Joslin Corp.
  
  
• I am aware of the risks, hazards and dangers of personal injury, death and disability inherent with any and all activities possible with use of motorized products, as well as those inherent risks, hazards and dangers of personal injury, death and disability in participating in any motor sport event. I am aware that the usual risk, hazards and dangers of personal injury, death and disability increase when using inclines, or declines, bowls, jumps, hills or any other structure or device. I also understand that these risks, hazards and dangers are further increased when other persons, whether of the same level of experience or skill, are participating at the same time.
  
  
• I hereby agree to release and forever discharge Joslin Corporation and its agents, servants, employees, officers, directors, trustees and all other persons or entities acting on their behalf, from any and all claims, actions, damages, liability, costs or expenses and attorney fees which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected to my participation or use of motorized products, use of equipment, or property supplied by Joslin Corporation or my presence upon the premises, whether or not such claims, actions, damages, liability, costs or expenses are caused by the negligence of the Seller listed above or the manufacturer or distributor.
  
  
• By this Agreement, it is my intention to surrender and waive any rights to sue or exercise any legal right to seek damages from Joslin Corporation and their agents, servants, employees, officers, directors, trustees and all other persons or entities acting on their behalf.
  
  
• This Agreement shall be effective and binding upon my heirs, agents, personal representatives and assigns.
  
  
• I hereby certify that I am over 18 years of age. I have carefully read the foregoing and acknowledge that I understand and agree to all of the above terms and service conditions. I have had the opportunity to ask any and all questions regarding this agreement and the effect of the same. I am aware that by purchasing any Product and sending payment for it, I assume all risks and waive and release certain substantial rights that I may have or posses. I therefore release all liability and waive any and all rights I may have in regards to my or my child's activities with this purchased item.
